Jaime Lynn Witts

Jaime Lynn Witts, originally from Bucks County, PA, received most of her training from Maxim Ponomarenko, Oleg Briansky, and Mireille Briane. She attended summer programs at CPYB, Boston Ballet, and Ballet Austin. There, she continued studying with master teacher Truman Finney as a trainee and member of Ballet Austin II. After joining the company, Ms. Witts has performed in works by numerous choreographers including Stephen Mills, KT Nelson, Nicolo Fonte, Sidra Bell, Pam Tanowitz, Nelly van Bommel, Loni Landon, James Gregg, Jennifer Hart, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Gabrielle Lamb and Pontus Lidberg. She has enjoyed performing principal roles in George Balanchine's Allegro Brillante and Agon, Swanhilda in Coppelia, Kate in The Taming of the Shrew and the title role in The Firebird. Most recently she has made her premier as Ophelia in Mills’ Hamlet.  Ms. Witts has also had the honor of performing the role of The Survivor in Mills' Light / The Holocaust & Humanity Project in Austin and on tour in Miami and Israel. Recently, she has spent her summers dancing at NCI and with MOTION Dance Theater.  When she is not dancing, Ms. Witts enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, Evaline.
