Alexa Capareda received her early training at the Philippine High School for the Arts in her native Philippines. After moving to Texas, she trained professionally at Ballet Austin. She continued her studies in Canada at Ecole Superieure de Ballet Contemporain de Montreal before joining Mario Radacovsky’s Ballet Bratislava in Slovakia, where she had the privilege of performing Jiri Kylian’s Falling Angels and Six Dances. She began exploring her own choreography before leaving Europe, winning 3rd prize at the 2013 Festival of Choreographic Miniatures in Serbia.

Alexa joined Ballet Austin’s artistic staff and Academy faculty in 2015. As Rehearsal Director for Ballet Austin TWO and the Butler Fellows, she has restaged ballets by Stephen Mills, Nelly van Bommel, Nick Kepley, Thang Dao, and Jimmy Orrante for Ballet Austin TWO, has assisted guest choreographers Alexander Anderson and Joshua Manculich with their commissioned works, and has created original pieces for BA2 and the Butler Fellowship Program. Maria and the Mouse Deer, her new ballet for BA2 based on Philippine folk stories, was funded by the National Endowment for the Arts and received seven B. Iden Payne nominations.

Alexa is an artist and Assistant Director with Jennifer Hart's Performa/Dance. She has co-produced and performed with Frank Wo/Men Collective and has worked with ARCOS, BLiPSWiTCH, Jennifer Sherburn, and Magdalena Jarkowiec. Her work has been featured in collaborations with sound artists/musicians Steve Parker, Brent Baldwin, Henna Chou, Transitory Sound and Movement Collective, Austin Camerata, LOLA Austin, VAMP, and visual artists Essentials Creative, Tom Suhler, Sarah Annie Navarrete, Susan Scafati, and Joi Conti. She has been commissioned by SALT Dance (Salt Lake City, UT), Houston Contemporary, Columbia Repertory Ballet, ZACH Theatre, and tbd. dance collective (Omaha, NE), and has presented work at the Blanton Museum, Big Medium, Austin Dance Festival, Barnstorm Dance Festival, and Fusebox Festival.

Alexa recently had her acting debut in Salvage Vanguard Theater’s Decapitations and has a growing interest in expanding her skillsets within the greater creative industry. She has also assisted several arts entities with marketing and social media.

In 2017, Alexa received an Austin Critics Table Award for Excellence as a Dancer. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English (with High Honors), and a minor in Theater and Dance from the University of Texas at Austin.


Angelina Carbonaro

Originally from Clearwater, Florida, Angelina Carbonaro began her classical training with Tampa Bay Ballet at age 6. She later joined Next Generation Ballet’s trainee program where she studied under Philip Neal and Ivonne Lemus throughout high school. During her time there, she performed a number of works including George Balanchine’s Western Symphony, several pieces created by Maria Konrad, and Kitri in Don Quixote. In 2023, Angelina moved to Austin to join Ballet Austin’s Butler Fellowship Program. The following year she was promoted to Ballet Austin’s second company where she performed in Stephen Mill’s The Nutcracker and Romeo and Juliet, and later joined their main company in 2025.

Lexi Eicher

Originally from Fort Wayne, IN, Lexi began her pre-professional ballet training during the sixth grade. She graduated from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music in 2021 with a B.S. degree in Ballet Performance & Psychology. At IU, she performed in a wide range of works, such as Christopher Wheeldon’s Carousel (A Dance), Jerome Robbins’ N.Y. Export: Opus Jazz & The Concert, Martha Graham’s Diversion of Angels, and George Balanchine’s Allegro Brillante. She joined Ballet Austin in 2021 as an apprentice, and has been dancing as a company artist ever since her promotion in 2023. During her time at Ballet Austin, Lexi has worked with a wide range of choreographers such as Stephen Mills, Alexander Anderson, Amy Seiwert, and Jessica Lang. She also enjoys teaching for Ballet Austin’s Young Children’s Division and Pre-Ballet classes, as well as the advanced technique and pointe classes for local Austin dance studios.

Grayson Gallella

Originally from Tehachapi, California, Grayson began training at the age of 10 at a small local studio and completed his pre-professional training with the Bakersfield City Ballet, under the direction of Erica Ueberroth. There he performed roles such as Cavalier in The Nutcracker, Basilio in Don Quixote, and Prince Siegfried in Swan Lake.

He furthered his training with summer programs at The Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company, Alonzo King LINES Ballet, and Ballet Austin. He joined Ballet Austin TWO in 2024 and was promoted to the main company in 2025 where he has had the opportunity to perform ensemble and soloist roles in Stephen Mills’ The Nutcracker, Romeo & Juliet, Four Mortal Men, Pink Confetti, Grimm Tales and more.

Colin Heino

Originally from Plainfield, Illinois, Colin started dancing when he was eight at Times III Performing Arts Academy and later with Visceral Dance Center’s Studio Company. Colin then auditioned for the Chicago Academy for the Arts, where he received a scholarship to train under the direction of Randy Duncan and Patrick Simoniello. During his summers, he expanded his training at the Juilliard School, the Pacific Northwest Ballet School, the Joffrey Academy of Dance, the Royal Ballet School, and the Jacob’s Pillow Contemporary Ballet Program.

Colin’s intellectual curiosity and love for dance led him to pursue a BFA at the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance, where he graduated in 2023. At USC, he performed lead roles in Whereabouts Unknown by Jiří Kylián, In Creases and Rodeo by Justin Peck, Counterpoint by Kyle Abraham, Minus 16 by Ohad Naharin, New Sleep by William Forsythe, and more. Upon graduating from USC, Colin joined Ballet Austin as a company artist, where he has had the opportunity to perform “Mercutio” in Stephen Mills’ Romeo & Juliet and featured roles in Christopher Wheeldon’s Polyphonia, Jessica Lang’s Zig Zag, and Stephen Mills’ Racing Beauty and BUBBLEGUM.

Colin has performed as a Guest Artist with the Traverse City Dance Project for their 2023-2025 seasons and danced for  Performa/Dance in their 2024 production PIVOT.

Arnaldo Hernandez was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, where he began training at Pasos Ballet Academy and The Conservatory of Ballet Concierto of Puerto Rico. He was later accepted to The Rock School for Dance Education where he performed in Nutcracker 1776 as well as Gala and Fringe Festival showcases. He later joined Pennsylvania Ballet’s second company and danced the pas de trois from Paquita, Celtic Fire and the pas de deux from La Fille Mal Gardée. He also appeared in company productions such as George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, Macmillan’s Romeo & Juliet, Angel Corella’s La Bayadere and Jerome Robbins’ Glass Pieces. In 2020 he joined Ballet Austin’s second company where he performed Paquita pas de Deux, Sleeping Beauty pas de deux and contemporary works choreographed by Alexa Capareda. Since then he has joined the main company and performed pieces by Stephen Mills, Jennifer Archibald and Jessica Lang.

Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, Grace began her ballet training under Alison Kravenko before joining Boston Ballet School’s Pre-Professional Program. She continued her studies at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, where she earned a degree in Ballet and Environmental Science. During her time at IU, Grace performed featured roles in George Balanchine’s Tarantella, My’Kal Stromile’s Baile de la Genté, and Justin Peck’s Heatscape, among other classical and contemporary works.

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Kyawzwa began dancing at Westlake School for the Performing Arts at the age of 5 in 2008. He continued his training at City Ballet School San Francisco under Nikolai Kabaniaev in 2018, until joining Ballet Austin in 2023. Since joining Ballet Austin, he has performed lead roles such as Snow King in Stephen Mills' The Nutcracker, Bluebird from The Sleeping Beauty, and Benvolio in Stephen Mills' Romeo and Juliet. As well as featured roles in Christopher Wheeldon's Polyphonia and Jessica Lang's ZigZag.

Jordan Miller (she/her) is a freelance dancer/choreographer/creator based in Austin, TX after nearly a decade of living and creating in New York City. She serves as co-founder and co-director of contemporary ballet company, konverjdans (converge/dance), whose work converges dance with other art forms through collaboration and storytelling.

Jordan was trained at the School of American Ballet and has performed with the New York City Ballet, Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, Ballet Vero Beach, Ventana Ballet and artists Caili Quan, Gabrielle Lamb, Alexa Capareda and many more. Her choreographic work spans ballet, contemporary, site-specific and film and has been presented by konverjdans, {254}DanceFest, Small Plates Choreography Festival, Ventana Ballet, Austin Dance Festival: Dance on Film and WestFest: All Over.

Morgan Stillman began his formal ballet training with Project Ballet in Fort Wayne, Ind., and attended Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. In 2014, he joined Nevada Ballet Theatre and performed principal and soloist roles. Morgan joined Ballet Austin in 2017 and has performed choreography by Justin Peck, Pam Tanowitz, Lar Lubovitch, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, George Balanchine, Christopher Wheeldon, Jennifer Hart, and Amy Seiwert. Morgan has danced principal roles in many of Stephen Mills’ productions, highlights include Hamlet (Hamlet), Petruccio (The Taming of the Shrew), Poe (POE / A Tale of Madness), and in Light / The Holocaust & Humanity Project. He has also enjoyed performing the Prince role in The Sleeping BeautySwan LakeCinderella, and The Firebird. During the summer season, Morgan performs with Terpsicorps Theatre of Dance with artistic director Heather Maloy in Asheville, NC. where he has danced many dynamic roles such as The Vampire (Vampyre), Julius Caesar (Cleopatra), and the Wind God (Satto by Salvatore Aiello). He also performed with the National Choreographic Initiative in Irvine, CA. in 2017 and 2018. Morgan will be joining New Jersey Ballet in September of 2026.

Hannah Grace is fifteen years old and has been dancing since she was four. She is pursuing her dream of becoming a professional ballet dancer and is currently training as a Level 8 at Ballet Austin Academy. She has attended summer intensive programs at Ballet Austin, Houston Ballet, and this summer she trained at American Ballet Theatre's intensive in New York City.

Born in Houston, Texas, Karis has been doing ballet since the age of five. She trained at Houston Ballet Academy before her family moved to Austin. What started as a hobby soon became part of her daily routine as she began pursuing ballet more seriously. She currently trains at Ballet Austin Academy.
