Matt Webb

Matt Webb is excited to join Performa/Dance for the first time on this production. Matt is a faculty member of Texas State University's School of Theatre, Dance, and Film, where he recently designed the lighting for Treasure Island. Elsewhere in the Austin area, Matt's lit over a dozen productions at Zach Theater including Murder on the Orient Express, and he's also worked with Mary Moody Northen Theatre and ACC. Outside of Central Texas, Matt's designed with Seattle Rep, Syracuse Stage, Arden Theatre, Seattle Children's Theatre, the Contemporary American Theater Festival, the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, and many others. Although principally a theatrical designer, Matt's lit dance with On the Boards in Seattle and Peridance in New York City, and he designs Midland Festival Ballet's annual Nutcracker. And, Matt's thrilled to again collaborate with his wife Erin Earle Fleming, with whom he's designed two semi-staged operas for the Houston Symphony and whose work in dance and theatre constantly wows him.
